Description

Snip the herbs you need quickly, neatly and right where you want with our Herb Scissors. The unusual blade design features a set of five, sharp 3 stainless steel blades that allow you to cut, chop or mince herbs directly into a pan or over a plate for garnishing. Large plastic handles have a soft silicone lining for a comfortable grip. The blade cover not only provides safe storage for the Herb scissors when not in use, it also doubles as a useful cleaning tool. Simply insert the notched end of the cover in between the blades and push any remaining herbs off of the scissors. 7.5 long overall. Dishwasher safe.

Very handy tool but they aren't great with a few things. First of all, when cutting fresh herbs, especially things like chives, the cuttings get stuck between the blades and have to be pushed out with another knife. They also fly everywhere, so use a cup to cut in.

Also, not great on stiffer things, like rosemary still on the stem.

Really good for dried leaves though.

The scissors worked as advertised. There is no real advantage for buying. The herbs stick between the scissors even when the herbs are dried well. If you use fresh herbs, they will stick. A sharp knife works just as well, perhaps better because the herbs only stick to the one blade and requires less effort to get the herbs off.

I have a large garden with a lot of herbs. I thought this would be a great gadget to speed up the process of chopping the herbs. It works to finely cut the herbs. But, it does not release them easily. A bit of shaking the scissors, and most of the cuttings will come out. Still, I wish it worked better than it does. I will use the scissors when I have a large amount of cutting to do. Other than that, I'll stick to tearing the herbs by hand for smaller dishes. Not a bad product...but, again, it could be better.

Highly recommended. They are very convenient for quickly and easily preparing small amounts of chopped herbs. Be careful with them, as they are super sharp, but that's what makes them work so great. Rinse under running water after use to keep herbs from drying between the blades.

I see many of the reviewers complaining about the herbs getting stuck in the blades. This is true but if yours came with a cover you'll note the slits in the end which fit between the blades and push the herbs right out. Genius, works great haven't found anything it doesn't chop. Great time saver.
